Ojiya Chijimi, a 100% ramie fabric of the highest quality, is a traditional craft originating from around Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture.

The characteristics of Ojiya Chijimi are its "shibo" (crepe texture) and wrinkles.
The "shibo" creates a smooth texture that is perfect for summer.

The ramie material has long fibers and excellent water absorption and heat dissipation.
It is firm and highly breathable, making it less likely to stick to the skin even when sweaty, and is particularly useful in spring and summer.
