Blueberries grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers
Minamiashigara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. This region, also known as "Ashigara," is famous as the home of Kintaro.
The blueberry trees from "Matsuga Farm," which operates an orchard primarily focused on fruit trees in Ashigara, have been transformed into chew toys.
The blueberries, grown robustly in the Ashigara soil, are cultivated without pesticides, to the extent that humans can eat the fruit without washing it.
Safe chew toys made in an environment approved for food processing
The blueberry branches from Matsuga Farm have been made into chew toys for small animals.
Matsuga Farm also manufactures and sells ice cream and jams made from fruits harvested on the farm, at its on-site factory.
These safe and secure chew toys for small animals are produced in the same facility, which is also suitable for food processing.
Blueberry branches are pruned annually in winter (around December to February).
The pruned branches are carefully washed with spring water from Ashigara.
This spring water has passed water quality tests for food businesses and is delicious enough to drink without purification.
The washed branches are cut to approximately 10cm for the long type and 5cm for the short type.
Each branch is checked, and those that pass move on to the drying process.
From cultivation to product, no pesticides or chemical agents are used.
Enjoy the natural texture of these natural materials.
Intriguing fruity aroma
Chew toys can be given to small animals as they are,
but we recommend toasting them at a low temperature for 30 seconds in a toaster, etc., before giving them to your pets.
This enhances the fruity, tangy aroma of blueberries, attracting small animals.
Please note that the chew toy will be very hot after toasting, so please ensure it has cooled completely before giving it to your pets.
