Blueberries grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers
Minamiashigara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. This region, also known as "Ashigara," is famous as the hometown of Kintaro.
The blueberry trees from "Matsuga Farm," which operates a fruit-centric farm in Ashigara, have been transformed into chew sticks.
The blueberries, grown robustly in the Ashigara soil, are cultivated without pesticides, to the extent that humans can eat the fruit without washing it.
Safe chew sticks made in a certified food processing environment
The blueberry branches from Matsuga Farm have been repurposed into chew sticks for small animals.
Matsuga Farm also manufactures and sells ice cream and jam made from fruits harvested on the farm, in an on-site factory.
These safe and secure chew sticks for small animals are made in facilities suitable for food processing.
Blueberry branches are pruned every winter (around December to February).
The pruned branches are carefully washed with spring water from Ashigara.
This spring water has passed water quality inspections for food businesses and is delicious enough to drink without purification.
The washed branches are cut to approximately 10cm for the long type and 5cm for the short type.
Each branch is inspected, and those that pass move on to the drying process.
No pesticides or chemical agents are used from cultivation to the final product.

Enticing fruity aroma
Chew sticks can be given to small animals as is, but
we recommend baking them in a toaster at a low temperature for 30 seconds before giving them.
This will enhance the fruity aroma with a hint of blueberry tartness, piquing the interest of small animals.
Please note that the chew sticks become very hot after baking, so please ensure they have cooled completely before giving them to your pets.
