Artist Kasumi Fujimura - "Utensils" that are always by your side in everyday life.

Kasumi Fujimura, born in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture in 1987, developed an affinity for art from an early age. After graduating from Onomichi City University with a degree in fine arts in 2010, she fully embarked on the path of pottery. In 2012, she completed her studies at the Tajimi City Pottery Design and Technical Center in Gifu Prefecture, further honing her skills and sensibility. She currently works from her studio in Tajimi City.

Kasumi Fujimura's works are characterized by delicate beauty and designs that prioritize ease of use, despite their simplicity. Utilizing traditional pottery techniques while incorporating modern essences, her works add color to the daily lives of many people.

The white "utensils" are crafted with the intention of complementing any dish, featuring simple and elegant designs that enhance the food. On the other hand, the bronze plates were born from a request by a local izakaya and possess an appealing, tasteful color perfect for daily use.
