A flower vase showcasing the pristine beauty of flowers against white

Kasumi Fujimura's "Flower Vase White" is a dignified and beautiful flower vase that stands out with the radiance of pure white porcelain. Its simple, unadorned form and clear white expression enhance the colors and shapes of the flowers themselves, bringing gentle space and harmony to any room.

By simply adding a single flower, it creates a clean and elegant atmosphere. When arranged with branches or seasonal flowers, it beautifully reflects their changing forms. It naturally blends into both Japanese and Western interiors, as well as modern homes, brightening up daily life.

Even when not adorned with flowers, it exudes a quiet presence like an objet d'art, creating a special scene just by being there. It is a flower vase suitable for a long companionship, making it a delightful gift.

Characteristics of Kasumi Fujimura's Works

Pottery artist Kasumi Fujimura, based in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, creates her works with the desire to make "vessels" that can be used frequently in daily life and always be by your side.

Kasumi Fujimura's works are strikingly beautiful with their contrasting aesthetics of pure white "vessels" and bronze-colored "vessels." The white "vessels" are created with the intention of being "suitable for any dish," featuring a simple yet elegant design that enhances the food. On the other hand, the bronze plates were born from a request from a local izakaya, and their tasteful color is appealing for everyday use.

Common to both series is Kasumi Fujimura's warm desire to "accompany people's daily lives and be used frequently without hesitation."
