A vase in pristine white that highlights the pure form of flowers

Kasumi Fujimura's "White Vase" is a flower vase embodying a refined beauty, characterized by the radiant gleam of pure white porcelain. Its minimalist form and clear white expression enhance the colors and shapes of the flowers themselves, bringing gentle spaciousness and harmony to any setting.

By simply adding a single flower, it creates a clean and elegant atmosphere, and when filled with branches or seasonal blooms, it gracefully reflects their transient beauty. This vase naturally blends into both Japanese and Western interiors, as well as modern homes, brightening daily life.

Even when not adorned with flowers, it exudes a quiet presence like an objet d'art, creating a special scene just by being there. It is a suitable vase for a long-lasting companionship, also making it a delightful gift.

Characteristics of Kasumi Fujimura's Works

Kasumi Fujimura is a ceramic artist based in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture. She creates "tableware" with the desire for it to be used frequently in daily life and to always be close at hand.

Kasumi Fujimura's works are striking for their contrasting beauty: pristine white "tableware" and bronze-colored "tableware". The white "tableware" is made with the intention that it "goes well with any dish" and features a simple yet elegant design that enhances the food. On the other hand, the bronze plates were born from a request from a local izakaya, and their tasteful color makes them appealing for daily use.

Common to both series is Kasumi Fujimura's warm desire that "users embrace them in their daily lives and use them without reservation."
